When Gilles met Darkstar

The Worldwide Awards 2010 are sold out and the day – Saturday 6th February – is approaching fast. The line-up is so ridiculous there might well be more musicans and DJs than actual punters in the venue – ha! This is certainly the case where the Floating Points Ensemble is concerned. Following on from the re-up of Gilles’ Radio 1 interview with the aforementioned young gent on these very pages, here is a very similar meeting with fast rising electronic whizzes Darkstar who produced one of 2009′s dopest dancefloor jams – ‘Aidy’s Girl’s A Computer’ on Kode9′s Hyperdub imprint.
