It’s been a cold spring 2010 in Tokyo.
April 1st, 2010 Thursday, Gilles arrived Tokyo for his DJ gig at eleven. But before the exciting party, Gilles had another gift for Tokyo - WORLWIDE 15 Live broadcast from J-WAVE Studio.
The weather was really nice on the day … the “real” spring weather which everyone was waiting for here in Tokyo. The Sakura / cherry blossoms were happily blooming and the gentle Spring put smiles on everyone’s face.
Gilles’ daily show WORLDWIDE15 on J-WAVE 81.3 FM is 15 minutes of musical delights from London to all music lovers in Tokyo. And the programme became 5 years old on April 1st!! And Gilles was here to come to J-WAVE to live broadcast the very 1st show of its 6th year.
Gilles comes to J-WAVE to play the show Live about twice a year. When it happens, 2 CDJs and a mixer are prepared in the studio for him. It’s a happy broadcast that puts everyone in a good mood and Good Music is guaranteed!!

It’s been a very exciting 5 years that Gilles’ put these special tunes to Tokyo through J-WAVE, the top commercial station in Tokyo, and we feel that it is important for the music scene here!
At the end, I now explain to you now why I call Gilles “Mr. Sunshine” on this blog.
It is because that it never rains when he live broadcasts from J-WAVE and all ways nice weather no matter if it’s Spring or Winter.
