Some of you will remember last year’s epic adventure…
Tom and Sarah, from the Brownswood team along with their friends James, Henry, Mario and Will; embarked on a marathon 1200-mile cycle ride from London to Dimensions festival in Croatia. In a bid to raise money for the Steve Reid Foundation and the Back-Up Trust. Smashing their initial fundraising target of £7,500 – raising a grand total of £17,650 and reaching their destination in perfect time to hear Gilles Peterson open his infamous set – with Grandbrothers – Ezra Was Right… but the story doesn’t end here…
The Road Was Empty is a short film made by Mario Epsley and Will Puddle that follows the 4 cyclists, across 7 countries, from sleet, to blazing sun and from flat terrain to Alpine climbs. This is a story that shows the triumphs, setbacks, realisations, struggles and pleasures along the way.
DJs Brand New Wayo will play either side of the documentary.
We hope to see you there!
