Gilles Peterson // BBC 6 Music // Blue Note Special // Part 2

December 9, 2014

Gilles is back with the Saturday mix up selection, joining the dots between soul, hip hop, house, afro and jazz.

Gilles continues where he left off, at the end of the first Blue Note special back in May, and delves in to his vinyl archive for another three hours of hidden gems, classic tracks and rarities from the iconic label. There are also Blue Note track selections from a variety of artists and 6 Music presenters and another chance to hear the President of Blue Note, Don Was, talk about the label’s heritage.

Listen to the full show here.
