Hit & Run bring their live screen printing to The Worldwide Awards

Excited to announce we are collaborating with international live screen print crew the HIT+RUN at Worldwide Awards 2012 this Saturday at KOKO. A limited edition series of t-shirts will be available on the night, with the first 50 people through the door getting a free one! So get down nice and early get your hands on one of these collectors items and get your groove on for what is set to be an amazing night of music and vibes WWA style.

HIT+RUN was created in 2005 by Southern California artists Brandy Flower and Mike Crivello, as a result of the contagious enthusiasm they had seen from small silk-screening parties in their homes. 6 years and over 500 events on, with crew in London, Singapore and Sydney the crew can be found at music festivals, in-stores, premiers, street fairs, launch parties, private events and happenings across the globe.

Collaborations include – Rough Trade, Stones Throw Records, Ninja Tune XX, Red Bull Music Academy, Secret Garden Party, Glastonbury, SXSW, Coachella and host of private parties and events .

At each HIT+RUN event a collection of single-color silkscreen designs are created. Guests personally select their own combination and placement of the designs, to create one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. Printing work from over 350 artists, including the official licensed art of Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Damien Hirst, Chaz Bojorquez, Gee Vaucher, Vassily Kandinsky, Matt Greoning, Shepard Fairey, Sanrio, The Seventh Letter and Madlib.

The crew continue to work on a flow of influential in-house projects, release seasonal mix-tapes alongside holding regular parties, events and exhibitions. The HIT+RUN Crew of artists is an expansive, ever-growing network, including notable contributors such as Retna, Cody Hudson, Maya Hayuk, B+, Mear, Usugrow, Jeff Jank, kozyndan, Kofie, Revok, Kime Buzzelli, Mike Giant, NACO, Buff Monster, SheOne, HVW8, Teebs, Jeremyville, Restitution Press and Kutmah.
