Miles Davis

What? “Kind Of Blue” (1959); probably one of my favorite Miles Davis albums (Uhmm and “Bitches Brew“) gets a facelift; I mean there’s a new edition on its way and you might wanna have that.  Released on Columbia/Legacy Recordings, Kind of Blue: 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition redefines the phrase “lavish box set”: it includes a 180-gram blue vinyl LP, two CDs (the original album plus more recordings from Miles’ classic John Coltrane/Cannonball Adderley sextet), a DVD documentary, a 60-page coffee table book and much more goodies.  The thing with this album is probably that it is way more accessible and it’s actually very dope, a must have.  If you don’t own any jazz record this might be the one you need in your record collection.
