Brownswood Electr*c 4 is available via our Bandcamp page from today and on all platforms as of next week. Ahead of the fourth installment of the Brownswood Electr*c compilation, we catch up with the artists through a series of questions about themselves. Here we have for you, Feral – listen to his track “Rollercoaster” below.

What are you up to today?
In addition to making music I’m also a visual artist, I’m currently wrapping up a project for Google Glass. I’m trying to talk them into giving me a pair, but it’s not going very well.

Who is your ultimate electronic pioneer?
Herbie Hancock, without a doubt. Coming from such a strong background as a pianist and composer, it’s inspiring to see once he started experimenting with electronic music, the music was never defined by the technology he was using, but rather he used to technology to support his musical idea, which I think is an important thing to learn from.

What did you want to be when you were little?
I was obsessed with drawing shoes and team uniforms, I’d basically rebranded the NFL, MLB and the NBA by the time I was twelve.

Describe your music in seven words?
Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release, Air Horn, Rewind

What’s your favourite studio snack?
Golden Birthday Cake Oreos will ruin your life.

If you could go in the studio with anyone dead or alive who would it be?
Bangladesh. His work on 8 Ball & MJG’s “Living Legends” was lightyears ahead of it’s time.

Where can people go to hear more from you?
