A new day with new music.  That’s how I woke up this morning!  I opened my mailbox and realised that things are happening while I’m sleeping… Muhsinah sent me this Had to send you an email about this. Super exciting!. It’s actually a passed release from 2005 and it’s re-releasing today.  It sounds a bit like “Day Break” if you remember that release from a year ago. Splendid!  “Oscillations: Sine” is availabe today, and there’s another one “Oscillations: Triangle“; Dunno when that will see the light but I can live with the first 13 tracks. Go buy it on iTunes (for now).

On another note, my boy Jonathan sent me this email about Exile‘s instrumental project called “Radio”.
So I’ll be working Exile’s upcoming instrumental project, “Radio.”  It’s an amazing project, with a true message behind it, and I’m honored to be a part of the team.  The album drops on January 20th via Plug Research, and I hope for this release to step Exile into the limelight he deserves.  I know there are many fans of Blu & Exile’s “Below the Heavens,” but “Radio” is Exile’s mission statement, and how he wanted to present his first solo instrumental project to the public.
I’ve always admired Exile‘s work and I can’t wait to hear his new stuff (There’s actually a track you can hear on Kenny Fresh’ site). I guess I’ll have to wait another month or two?!?

Talking about Exile, don’t forget to purchase the “DJ Dusk’s Root Down Soundclash” presented by Mochilla.  It’s out now and features 3 beat battles as you can see on the bottom of the poster.  I just ordered my copy but I got the Exile vs. Oh No battle from Oh No 2 years ago and I can tell you it’s just crazy.  So go on the Stones Throw store and go buy that must have DVD now…(Rest In Peace DJ Dusk)!
