Worldwide Festival // Song for Rémy
July 15, 2016
At last year’s Worldwide Festival, Yosi Horikawa and Daisuke Tanabe spent time taking field recordings of the surroundings of Sète which play host to the festival. They used them on the night of their performance in the inaugural year of Japan Day (which was continued at the 2016 edition).
They have dedicated what they produced to Rémy Kolpa Kopoul, who – aside from being a great friend to the festival – was a huge inspiration to the musical community throughout French-speaking countries and beyond.
